NANA held its 2025 Annual Meeting of Shareholders today, March 22, 2025, in Shungnak, Alaska. During the meeting, the following board members were elected to serve three-year terms on the NANA board:
- At-Large: Greta Schuerch
- Ambler: Gladys Jones
- Buckland: Clara Ticket
- Deering: Gloria Carter
- Noatak: Joseph Luther
- Noorvik: Lee Ballot Sr.
- Selawik: Conan Sampson
- Shungnak: Linda Lee
The following board members are continuing directors: Alice E. Aliqataaq “Ali” Adams (Noatak), Tommy Panitchiaq Ballot Sr. (Selawik), Bonita Qanailaaq Barr (Deering), Marvin Qanailaaq Barr (Kiana), Pearl Iriqtaq Gomez (Kobuk), Gary Qugliaq Hadley (Buckland), Eva Aqimayuk Harvey (At-Large), Johnetta Unaviqsruaq Horner (Kobuk), Lance Qaluraq Kramer (Kotzebue), Anthony Suuyuk Norris (Shungnak), Mary F. Avaayak Sage (Kivalina), Nellie A. Nayuk Sheldon (Ambler), William “Billy” Utauyuk Sheldon Jr. (Noorvik), Lee “Big Boy” Atmaġuq Staheli (Kiana), Myra Aqurruaq Wesley (Kivalina).

ABOUT THE NANA BOARD: NANA Regional Corporation’s 23-member board is elected by the Corporation’s more than 15,500 Iñupiat shareholders. The board structure consists of two Iñupiat shareholder board members from each NANA regional community (with the exception of Kotzebue with one board seat), two at-large seats and a non-elected, non-voting, elder advisor. Directors serve three-year terms.
