Our dedicated Resource Protection Officers (RPOs) Our dedicated Resource Protection Officers (RPOs) work to safeguard our ancestral lands from illegal activity.

We want to provide a friendly reminder that it is legal for aircraft to fly over and land in the Kobuk River. The use of aircraft is illegal in the Noatak Controlled Use Area between Aug. 15 and Sept. 30 for big game hunting in any manner.

If you spot any misuse, we encourage you to report it promptly by reaching out to your local RPO or contacting the Alaska State Troopers directly.

Together, let's stand strong in our commitment to preserve the beauty and integrity of our ancestral lands.
