Panitchiaq Tommy Ballot Sr. is a director from Selawik who has served on the NANA board since 2021. He previously served on the board from 1997 to 2003.

In addition to his NANA board duties, Panitchiaq serves as a trustee of the NANA Elders’ Settlement Trust. He is a member of the Selawik Elders Council and the Regional Elders Council.

Panitchiaq previously chaired the Selawik Elders Council and was an advisory school board member in Selawik for the Northwest Arctic Borough School District.
