Lindsey Holmes serves as NANA’s chief legal officer and corporate secretary, leading the company’s legal strategy to ensure alignment with corporate goals, regulatory requirements, and shareholder interests. She provides legal oversight across a broad spectrum of matters, including governance, corporate compliance, litigation, contracts, employment law, and regulatory affairs. Lindsey also supports the board of directors in maintaining strong governance practices and effective operations.
Lindsey joined NANA in 2019 as vice president and deputy general counsel. Before that, she served as general counsel for the Alaska Gasline Development Corporation, managing the legal framework for a proposed $42 billion natural gas pipeline and related infrastructure on behalf of the State of Alaska.
With extensive legal experience in Alaska, Lindsey has represented a wide range of public and private clients, including the Alaska Department of Transportation, the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation, GCI, Chugach Electric, Calista Corporation, The Aleut Corporation, and Matanuska Electric Association. She also served four terms as a state representative in the Alaska Legislature.
A lifelong Alaskan, Lindsey holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, a master’s degree from Stanford University, a bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College and is fluent in Spanish.
