Putyuk Alex Sheldon Sr. is a director from Kobuk who has served on the NANA board since 2017.

Putyuk previously served on the Northwest Arctic Borough’s local emergency planning committee, as a member of the Kobuk Tribal Council and as mayor of Kobuk.

Prior to being elected to the NANA Board, Putyuk was a small business owner of the Kobuk River Cabins.
