Teck and NANA were notified today of a positive COVID-19 test for a contractor at Red Dog Operations.

• On September 12, a contractor employee was tested for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms. A positive result was received September 14.
• The individual has been placed in isolation at Red Dog.
• Contact tracing is underway. Individuals having close contact with the individual will be placed in quarantine, assigned to the Worker Protection Protocol or other appropriate measures will be taken.

Red Dog Operations is following established response protocols to ensure the health and safety of all personnel at the operation is maintained. We are also working onsite and with public health authorities and taking precautionary steps to manage the risk of transmission.

We remain focused on safeguarding the health and safety of our employees and the communities in which they live. We will continue to closely monitor this situation and provide further updates to employees and contractors as necessary.
