Kotzebue, Alaska – Sept. 28, 2010 – NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. (NANA)announced today that the Annual Meeting of NANA Shareholders will take place in Ambler, Alaska, on March 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ambler School. NANA’s board of directors approved the location last week during their meeting in Kotzebue, Alaska. The annual meeting is open to all NANA shareholders.
NANA is one of 13 Regional Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs) created pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971. NANA’s mission is to provide economic opportunities for its more than 12,000 Iñupiat shareholders and to protect and enhance NANA lands.
