NANA employee recognized for cartography skills

NANA’s NunaGeo Information Manager, Paul Anderson, created a map of the NANA region that was recently selected as one of three maps to be represented in the Cartography and Visualization section of the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) map competition.

ESRI is an international supplier of Geographic Information System (GIS) software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications. Anderson's map “Land Ownership in the NANA Region” was selected out of 33 maps submitted. It was chosen for its high quality, cartographic elements, presentation design, and overall impact and impression.

Anderson's map will be displayed in the GIS people’s annual big event and the ESRI International User Conference 2015 in San Diego, California this July.
