Kotzebue, Alaska – Nov. 06, 2015 – NANA’s board declared an FY 15 dividend of $8.00 per share payable on or about December 16, 2015, to shareholders of record as of December 4, 2015. The total distribution is approximately $12.7 million paid to NANA’s more than 13,800 Iñupiat shareholders.

“We’re pleased to announce this dividend for the shareholders,” said Linda Lee, NANA board chair. “The board and employees worked hard this past year, and will continue to work hard, to make sure we are delivering economic benefit to our people.”

The last day for shareholders to update their records prior to the dividend is November 20, 2015, by 5 p.m. AKST.

In addition to dividends, NANA contributes millions of dollars each year to scholarships, medical, burial and disaster assistance, village economic development, language preservation and other important social and cultural programs for shareholders.
