Anchorage, Alaska – Sept. 24, 2010 – NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. announced that the board of directors declared a dividend of $14 per share payable on or about November 12, 2010 to shareholders of record as of November 1, 2010.
“We know that these dividends make a difference in the lives of our people,” said Donald G. Sheldon, NANA board chairman. “The cost of living in our region is high and the cost of heating fuel continues to climb. We hope that these distributions help ease some of the financial burdens that our shareholders feel in this current economic climate.”
In addition to dividends, NANA contributes millions of dollars each year to scholarships, medical, burial and disaster assistance, village economic development, language preservation and other important social and cultural programs for shareholders.
